R.E.B. is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Brooklyn, NY

Some of Ari Brownlee’s earliest memories are of drawing, well, scribbling furiously would be more accurate. Drawing his way through life, and figuring out how to scribble in a more controlled manner, REB decided to believe in himself and take his passion seriously. He studied at Pratt Institute, graduating with his Bfa in Communications Design, emphasizing illustration in 2025.

REB is also the victim of a curse where if he goes too long without drawing he will explode in a gruesome smattering of viscera. And he really doesn’t want to think about someone having to clean that up, thankfully his daily drawing habit has kept the curse at bay so far.
